Description
The Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Public Administration is awarded upon successful completion of the Undergraduate Study Program of the Department of Political Science and Public Administration of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. The program provides interdisciplinary education in political science, public administration, administrative science, public law, international and European studies, political theory, social theory, sociology and social policy. It combines a common core curriculum with specialised study cycles, offering a strong theoretical background, methodological training and opportunities for academic specialisation.

They acquire knowledge of the functioning of public institutions, governance systems, international organizations, the European Union and contemporary approaches to the design, implementation and evaluation of public policies.
Skills
Graduates are able to analyse political, administrative and social phenomena, evaluate public policies, apply qualitative and quantitative social research methods, collect, process and interpret data, prepare scientific and administrative studies, utilise modern information tools and support their conclusions with scientific evidence. They are also capable of preparing reports, policy analyses and advisory documents, effectively presenting their findings and supporting decision-making processes in public and private organizations.
