Description
The Bachelor’s Degree is offered by the Hellenic Open University through the Department of European Studies: History, Society and Civilization and provides comprehensive interdisciplinary education on the historical development, society, and civilization of Europe. The program examines the European phenomenon through history, geography, philosophy, literature, the arts, the sciences, and the institutions of European integration. It also fosters a critical understanding of contemporary Europe and the formation of European identity.

Graduates may pursue careers in educational, cultural, and research institutions, European and international organizations, as well as bodies engaged in cultural management, European cooperation, and the analysis of social and cultural issues.
Access Requirements / Progression Opportunities
Admission to the Undergraduate Study Programmes of the Hellenic Open University requires applicants to hold a High School Diploma or an equivalent secondary education qualification from Greece or abroad. Admission is granted without entrance examinations, according to the application and selection procedure established by the Hellenic Open University.
