Description
The Bachelor's Degree in Digital Industry Technologies is awarded by the Department of Digital Industry Technologies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. The programme provides interdisciplinary education in digital industry technologies, combining informatics, telecommunications, automation, industrial information systems, artificial intelligence, data analytics and digital industry management. It aims to prepare graduates capable of designing, developing and managing advanced digital and industrial systems within the Industry 4.0 environment. The curriculum is organized into two official study tracks: Digital Industry Systems and Digital Industry Management.

Access Requirements / Progression Opportunities
A high school diploma and successful completion of the Panhellenic or placement exams are required. The degree is awarded upon successful completion of eight semesters and 240 ECTS credits.

Graduates possess comprehensive and interdisciplinary knowledge in Digital Industry Technologies (Industry 4.0), acquiring a strong scientific background in informatics, telecommunications, information systems, data management and analytics, Big Data, the Internet of Things (IoT and IIoT), cloud computing, industrial automation, robotics, cyber-physical systems, artificial intelligence, machine learning, decision support, digital industry management and digital transformation. They also understand the integration of technology, industry, entrepreneurship and innovation within modern production environments.
Skills
Graduates develop skills in designing, developing and managing digital and industrial systems, software development, automation technologies, data analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning applications, network and computing infrastructure management, Industry 4.0 solution design and the application of advanced digital technologies in industrial environments. They also develop critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, experimentation with emerging technologies, project management and innovation assessment skills.
